I am trained in the Traditional Chinese Medicine style of acupuncture and have a BSc (Hons) Degree in Acupuncture from the Northern College of Acupuncture, affiliated by the University of Central Lancashire.
As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the UK's largest regulatory body of professional acupuncturists, I adhere to a strict Code of Safe Practice and Code of Professional Conduct.Since 2011 I have been a tutor at the Northern College of Acupuncture, teaching students the practical skills needed to become an acupuncturist.I first became interested in acupuncture after having treatment myself.
I suffered for many years with severe migraines and wanted an alternative treatment to taking medication. My treatment was very successful and I then became more interested in how acupuncture affects the body and how inserting needles into specific points on the body could create a change to a person's health.
